If the first season of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air taught us anything, it’s that people from Philadelphia who move west are bound to get homesick. Phoenix is great, but it can’t replicate the violent sports fanaticism that makes a Philly person feel at home.
We’re sure we’ll see a few cheesesteak-loving, east-coast transplants at Chase Field when the Arizona Diamondbacks host the Philadelphia Phillies, who are the team to beat in the National League, thanks to slugger Ryan Howard. Some bonus entertainment should come from the raucous and ridiculous behavior of Phills’ fans, à la Chicago Cubs’ devotees.
Okay, maybe not that obnoxious.
