Following a day of watching A Christmas Story for the fifth time and playing Uno until your fingers bleed, it’s time to get the relatives out of the house and into a place where excessiveness truly thrives — ZooLights at the Phoenix Zoo. With enough lights to impress even Clark W. Griswold (2.5 million to be exact), the holiday-lights display features more than 500 animal and nature sculptures, including its newest brilliant beast, the Komodo dragon. If that isn’t enough, check out the dancing-tree show, visit Jengo the talking giraffe, or fork over a few extra bucks for a carousel, camel, or horse-drawn wagon ride.
