Remember when getting smacked in the face by speeding red rubber was a bad thing? Well, no more! The folks at Phoenix Dodgeball have sprouted a society of ball-flinging fanatics that would be more than happy to make you their target.
Along with Kiwanis Park, they have organized Drop-In Dodgeball games as an open invitation to compete with anyone from the most novice players to those already established in local leagues. All it takes is a good pair of court shoes, decent aim, and a little pent-up aggression (which shouldn’t be too hard for those of you with a nasty case of the Mondays).
Games are for players 18 and over and teams are formed on-site. The toss-off costs $4 per player and lasts from 6 to 10 p.m. Monday, December 20, at the Kiwanis Recreation Center. And, remember, teams are co-ed so please check your genitalia at the door.
