As they stand outside an opera house waiting for tardy friends in Seinfeld’s “The Opera” episode, the titular Jerry serenades gal pal Elaine with The Bugs Bunny Show’s theme song “This Is It.” Both amused and humorously repulsed, she scoffs, “It is so sad. All your knowledge of high culture comes from Bugs Bunny cartoons.”
