As we all-too-slowly nudge our way into the 2013-14 NFL season, much talk is being made in the office about fantasy football. But if we could, we’d give up completely on researching possible sleepers and just draft the entire Arizona Rattlers starting lineup.
Let’s look at their most recent game (as of this writing) against the Orlando Predators, shall we? On the receiving end, wideout Tysson Poots hauled in nine catches for 150 yards and three touchdowns (33 fantasy points), while Rod Windsor had 100 catching yards, three receiving touchdowns, and one rushing goal (30 points). Quarterback Nick Davila threw for 411 yards and nine touchdowns — a whopping 70 fantasy points. With these guys, that office pool would be a lock.
Watch a true fantasy team attempt to close out a real fantasy season against the Chicago Rush Saturday, July 20, at US Airways Center, 201 East Jefferson Street. Kickoff is at 6 p.m. Tickets are $6 and up through www.ticketmaster.com.
