Get ready to hit the bottle, because it’s going to be one of those weeks. Arizona Cocktail Week, the two-year-old celebration of all things craft cocktail, returns with more than 30 events statewide — almost all paired with local restaurants.

Saturday’s first full day of the festivities is fairly reflective of what to expect. Be in good spirits during panel taste tests highlighting Breckinridge Bourbon, a craft spirit courtesy of Colorado, bright and early at 10:30 a.m., and E.H. Taylor Rye Whiskey, from the producers of Buffalo Trace, at 1:30 p.m. Check out the Cocktail Carnival at 7 p.m., featuring aerial acrobatics, tiki drinks, and tequila face painting at the Hotel Valley Ho, 6850 East Main Street in Scottsdale, the fete’s main hub. Those with weeklong wristbands get free concoctions at the Deep Eddy Cocktail Truck — an adult version of the dine-on-wheels trend.

Drink up from Friday, February 14, through Friday, February 21, at various locations in Phoenix and Scottsdale. Wristbands ($10) include drink discounts and free entry to many events. Individual event times and prices vary. See the full schedule at www.arizonacocktailweek.com.
