He’s been called one of the “sickest, naughtiest, and cleverest” authors alive. For Christopher Moore that’s not an insult, but a great honor. His newest work, The Serpent of Venice (a sequel to 2009’s Fool) captures the writer’s signature style in a tale of debauchery.
Crescent Ballroom may be known for a calendar of indie rock shows, but Moore’s first-come, first-served reading and signing, sponsored by independent bookseller Changing Hands Bookstore, takes over the venue this week. San Francisco-based Moore has more than a dozen novels to his name. His storytelling spans the genre of satire with a devoted cult following.
