There’s no reason to not spend the summer drinking tequila in the comfort of an air conditioned room, and that’s exactly what you can do on Saturday, July 26, at the first-ever Taste Tequila festival in Scottsdale.
This nighttime, indoor celebration of all things agave spirit will feature over 100 different añejos, blancos, and reposados from a variety of distillers including Espolon, Partida, Tierras, and Patron. DJs, Mariachi bands, seminars, cocktail demonstrations, and live art will keep you entertained between sips. There will also be a handful of roast-y, smoky mezcals to sample courtesy of the Phoenix chapter of the USBG, along with food samples to soak up some of the liquor in your belly from Cuttlefish, Bootleggers, and others.
Taste Tequila will kick off at 6 p.m. and run until 9 p.m. at the Venue of Scottsdale. 7117 East Third Avenue. General admission ($50), VIP ($100), designated driver ($20), and round-trip transportation ($10) tickets are available at www.tastetequilaaz.com, along with more information.
Sat., July 26, 6-11 p.m., 2014
