Forget about the Night of the Living Dead movie and all its sequels when you can catch the foot-dragging, skin-dangling, eyes-rolling, brain-eating, moaning, and groaning good time live, uh, dead, on stage at the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts.

Back-story: A satellite returns from Venus carrying a deadly radioactivity that turns the unburied dead (and there just happens to be plenty of them, you know, conveniently lying around) into living roadkill looking for fresh human flesh to satisfy their post-mortem hunger. Seven hapless victims get cornered in an old farmhouse, putting their wits and patience — and compassion for fellow man — to the ultimate test. And the ending? Let’s just say it’s killer!
