If you need an incentive to cast a ballot, here it is
Arizona Attorney General Terry Goddard may not be the perfect gubernatorial candidate, but compared to his Republican rival Governor Jan Brewer, he’s a freakin’ Nobel Prize laureate. It’s a real sin that the political climate of this state is so focused on bashing Mexicans. Otherwise, Brewer wouldn’t have a popsicle’s chance in July, and Goddard would be the anointed one.
Barring a gargantuan upset at the polls, it seems Goddard will be bested by our creepy, barely-there governor, for whom stringing a few words together is more challenging than solving a Rubik’s Cube blindfolded.

Hey, at least I’ll have plenty to write about for the next four years. Still, the better angel of my nature would like to see Arizona pull out of its current, zombie-like slump. At least while I’m living here. And that will not be happening with Brewer (read: Chuck Coughlin) at the helm.
Local videographer Dennis Gilman has put together a YouTube piece on Jan that’s either intensely depressing, or highly motivating if you think there’s a chance of stopping her. Gilman apparently believes Goddard still has a shot, so this is his get-out-the-vote effort. Admittedly, after viewing it, I’m even less inclined to blow off election day.
