Breakfast for Dinner

Tomorrow, June 7th, round up the kids and take them out for a pancake dinner. Log Cabin Syrup is hosting “Breakfast for Dinner” at the Tolleson Boys and Girls Club to help raise funds to support the B & G’s Club programs. Pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, orange juice, milk, and coffee will all be up for grabs from 6 to 8 p.m. and super-fun activities like pancake tossing will be happenin’ for the kiddos.  Adults eat for just $2 and kids eat free. All donations will be matched by the syrup people at Log Cabin. Call 623-936-9020 for more info.

Peachy Pie

Peach season is quickly coming to an end – better snatch up all those little morsels of sweet goodness while you still can! Once the tender peaches are in your possession, it’s time to make pie. Skip the whole pie pan step and go the rustic route with this Peach Crostata. The rustic looking pie tastes amazing and it’s so easy to make. We added cinnamon and nutmeg for a spicy kick. Peachy!
