After just eight months, Saladworks, the largest fresh-tossed salad franchise concept in America, has shuttered its only Arizona location.
Located at 15768 North Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard, the North Scottsdale Saladworks opened in December of last year. The over 25-year-old company, based in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, currently operates 105 104 locations in 13 states.
In addition to being Arizona’s Saladworks, the Scottsdale store was also the first Saladworks to offer a selection of beer, wine, and a frozen yogurt bar in addition to its regular menu of salads, soups, and sandwiches.

A representative from Saladworks confirmed the Scottsdale location’s closure and said the company had no current plans to open any additional Saladworks in Arizona at this time.
“Arizona is the perfect place for Saladworks,” said Saladworks chairman and CEO John Scardapane in a 2012 December press release touting the new Scottsdale location. “We’re prepared to deliver the ultimate in health-conscious dining to the people of Phoenix . . .”
