16: Limited Release: 2010 Cochise County Shiraz from Pillsbury Wine Company

Sure wine makes a great gift, but limited release wine says you went that extra mile — in this case, Old Town Cottonwood.

Which is the only place you can get the just-delivered 2010 Cochise County Shiraz from Arizona’s own Pillsbury Wine Company. The limited release of 50 cases is the first wine from the new Shiraz Block on Pillsbury’s Spanish Bit Ranch Vineyard in Willcox.

$30,000

Owner and founder Sam Pillsbury has this to say about the limited release offering:

“It’s an aromatic wine from a Shiraz Clone 6 that loves the High Desert: inky dark and intense with boysenberry, plum, and black cherry notes, and without the oak and jamminess of a lot of Aussie Shiraz. It won a Ribbon of Distinction at the Festival at The Farm.”

Pillsbury’s limited release of its 2010 Cochise County Shiraz is available only at its tasting room in Cottonwood, Arizona, where customers can purchase up to two bottles at $45 each.
