Two hours from now, all the P.F. Chang’s restaurants in the Valley will celebrate the launch of the restaurant’s own custom-made wine with a complimentary toast.

To save you the trouble of remembering the name of the vino and the time of the toast, they’ve come up with one number: 518. The label’s called Vineyard 518, and the toast will be at, you guessed it, 5:18 p.m.

Supposedly the number is also auspicious in Chinese numerology, and means “I will prosper.”

Vineyard 518 currently features a Sauvignon Blanc and a Syrah blend. Wattle Creek Winery, a family-owned winery in the Bay Area, produces the wine with fruit from vineyards in Mendocino County’s Yorkville Highlands.
