Chances are strong that if you like in Phoenix, you’ve eaten chef Chris Bianco’s food. As a James Beard award-winning chef and one of the country’s best known pizzaiolos, he’s arguably the biggest name in the Valley culinary scene. His small collection of restaurants showcases the talents of not only the chef, but also his brother and bread baker, Marco, and his mother, who makes desserts for the restaurant at Town & Country.

But how much do you know about the man behind Phoenix’s most sought-after pizza? In the upcoming months local creative and design consultancy firm Kitchen Sink Studios Inc. will be giving the public a glimpse into the mind of the chef through a documentary short.

“Our film will be a documentary short expected to be completed in the coming months and will give a personal glimpse into the life of a family man, award-winning chef and restauranteur,” writes Kitchen Sink Studios’ Diana Martinez.

This is the second short film to come from the local creative firm in recent months. The last film, “Vermillion,” won two Addy Awards and was an official selection at the 5Point Film Festival.

There’s no set release date for what the studio considers “a new passion project,” but Martinez expects the film to be complete within the next few months.
