Love the Dhaba in Tempe? We’ve got great news! India Plaza’s owner Raveen Arora is opening the new Fusion Cafe right next door. The cafe was closed for renovations ten weeks ago and now, instead of run of the mill scones and croissants, Arora is proud to serve traditional Punjabi street treats.
Think the delights of the Dhaba on a student budget. The cafe will be equipped with wifi and offer Indian spins on classic fare. Instead of regular pesto you can enjoy it with Indian nuts; and instead of cream cheese, paneer spread. You will also be able to buy traditional lassis, tea, coffee, ice cream, and treats such as chaat, puri and samosas.
The Fusion Cafe will be open on Friday from 5 to 9 pm and will be on that schedule for a week before expanding to daytime hours, too.
