Restaurant owners Martin and David Antonelli are getting ready to reopen Voltaire next week, on September 10, after their annual summer break.

The traditional French restaurant, located in Scottsdale, is one of a handful of local eateries that close down for extended vacations during the hottest — and slowest — time of year.

Seems like the entire Farm at South Mountain closes, too, although Quiessence is already back in action. On September 8, the other two on-site restaurants, Farm Kitchen and Morning Glory Cafe, will open their doors as well.

And by now, most pizza fanatics are aware of Chris Bianco’s late summer break, now in effect. Pizzeria Bianco and Pane Bianco will both fire up the ovens again on September 15.
