If you’ve ever seen the Red Hot Chili Peppers live and in concert, no doubt you’ve witnessed lead singer Anthony Kiedis bouncing around the stage like a silly little freak. Thanks to a recent foot surgery (which involved removing a crushed sesamoid bone and repairing a detached flexor tendon), the 49-year-old isn’t doing much prancing or bounding these days. As a matter of fact, the dudes bombing around on crutches with his foot in a boot.
As reported by the gossipmongers at TMZ, Kiedis’ foot problems have resulted in the Chili Peppers postponing dates on their upcoming nationwide tour (in support of last year’s I’m with You disc). That includes their March gig at Jobing.com Arena in Glendale, which has been rescheduled for September 25.
If you’re one of the cats who sprung for said show, hold on to your ticket, as it will be honored for the new date.
