You couldn’t swing a bag of candy without hitting a costumed character this past weekend during the buildup to Halloween, particularly at local bars and nightspots.
Countless revelers and nightlife patrons embraced the spirit of the scary season and donned alter egos and colorful outfits for the evening.
Not every costume was good, however. Truth be told, some were downright creepy. Among the Lady Gagas and Black Swans, which seemed to be the most popular choice for women, (and not to mention all the Top Gun pilots and Mad Hatters) were a variety of outfits that were both outrageous and offensive.
4. Serial Killer CostumesYep, you’re creepy, you’re probably not picking up any girls at the bar, and we’re sure the families of John Wayne Gacy’s numerous victims would dig your outfit.

3. Terrorists and Middle Eastern CostumesTurning the terrorist mastermind into a lighthearted Halloween costume might be a bad move. Ditto for dressing like recently slain Libyan dictator, Muammar Gaddafi.
2.Costumes Highlighting Your JunkTo paraphrase a line from 1997’s Good Will Hunting, men are shameless. They’re either thinking with their junk and acting directly on its behalf, or they’re dressing in phallocentric Halloween costumes … or they’re dressed like sperm. We get it. You’re proud of your package.
1. Casey AnthonyWe spied a couple females at two different parties sporting costumes inspired by the infamous former party girl and “Mother of the Year” candidate who was recently accused of killing her toddler. One dressed in a powder blue sweatshirt and ponytail (as seen in Anthony’s mugshot) and carried a bloody baby doll. The other wore the revealing playing card dress covered with vomit (as worn by her in an infamous party photo). Neither lady would allow us to photograph them.
