Art Detour is back on March 8 and 9. But before the event highlights downtown’s art digs, it’s kicking things off with a little party and the help of Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton.

The the two-day excursion into downtown’s creative scene will feature exclusive access into the private studios of local artists, pop-up exhibitions, and the participation of more than 100 Phoenix art venues, and the Art d’Core Gala will ring in the festivities.
Hosted by the Mayor’s Office, Downtown Phoenix Inc., and Artlink Inc. at Crescent Ballroom at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 1, this free event will feature a speech by Mayor Stanton, live music, food, drinks, art installations, and plenty of vibrant formal attire — the theme is “Living in Color,” after all.
