Squeeze into those skinnies and prep your best Alexa Chung impersonation, ’cause cool chick clotherie Madewell is coming to Scottsdale Fashion Square.
Slated to open Tuesday, April 3, the J.Crew subsidiary specializes in casual womenswear staples like high-quality denim and T-shirts, sweaters, and tops in a vibrant array of hues. For the uninitiated, think of it as a less obnoxious Urban Outfitters mixed with some non-pervy American Apparel and a dash of J. Crew’s all-American preppiness.
When it opens, expect an eyeful of the store’s spring/summer 2012 collection, which is chockfull of on-trend pieces such as green and yellow jeans, overalls (not that we approve), a bounty of polka dots, midi skirts, beachy stripes, and a healthy dose of color blocking. See the full lookbook here.
Price-wise, dresses hover around $150, jeans will run you about $100, purses are closer to $200, and shoes fetch $100-plus.
