Free People fans looking for a summery fashion fix, soon you’ll be able to get one in Chandler.
The boho-chic brand, which has two locations in Scottsdale, opens a third Valley shop at Chandler Fashion Center on Friday, April 25. And there will be an appropriately stylish soiree to celebrate.

The 2,700-square-foot first-level store will host a grand opening bash from 6 to 9 p.m. that includes gifts for the first 50 customers, a photobooth, and juice and cocktails courtesy of Nekter, according to Free People’s director of retail, Beth Wehagen, who talked with Jackalope Ranch via e-mail.

“The store is going to open with all things summer,” Wehagen says. “Customers can expect to find a broad range of dresses, bottoms, bohemian tops, eclectic accessories, and an intimates shop! We have something for every occasion that feels special, free-spirited, and hand-touched. “
On Wehagen’s current list of favorite items is a pair of soft, harem-style bottoms.
The Chandler location of Free People features rustic design elements mixed with whimsical, girly touches. Shoppers can expect natural rough sawn wood columns, wide plank floors, white bead board walls, and blackened steel elements, according to a release. Glitter plaster walls, patchwork curtains, and a wooden crate and yarn installation soften the industrial workshop feel.
“Overall, the product and lifestyle seems to really resonate with our customers in Arizona,” she says.
Free People Chandler’s hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. For more information, call the Chandler location of Free People at 480-899-7695.
