Believe it or not, there are things that instill more fear than Valentine’s Day. FearCon 2014, for instance. Formerly known at the Phoenix Fear Film Festival, FearCon screens the goriest and greatest of local, foreign, and independent horror films.

With FearCon VI set for Saturday and Sunday, November 1 and 2, at Fear Farm, the festival recently announced it is accepting submissions for both feature and short films.

Submissions can fall in the genre of horror, thriller, or sci-fi, and must include synopsis, cast and crew bios, photo stills, contact information, and any additional information (i.e. trailer, film background, etc.) applicants think is necessary.

Submissions should be in either DVD, NTSC, or digital download format. Regardless of whether a film is chosen, submissions will not be returned. This year, FearCon is waiving submission fees. Deadline for submissions is Sunday, August 31. For more information, visit Phoenix FearCon online.
