Edwards, bring their booming indie businesses with them. This week, we’d like to give a Local Label Spotlight shout-out to Edwards’ Renaissance Records.

Why they’re hot:
Since 1995, Renaissance has had lucrative licensing deals with EMI-Capitol and Sony Music.
The label had wide distribution through Ryko until 2001, and is currently distributed through Koch.
They accept demo submissions from bands, and promise to respond whether they’re interested or not.
