The Stylos Awards at the Phoenix Art Museum may not be until November 30, but the booths (in this case online surveys) are officially open and counting votes until September 30.
Since they began in 2005, the Stylos awards have recognized those who reflect the accomplishments of the Latino community in Arizona. The event is a blend of music and fashion — as local designers will have a chance to show off new lines while bands and dance groups perform.
Nominee categories include politics, sports, entrepreneurship, arts/culture and media. Check out a few of the Nominees after the jump …
Nominees include Mary Stephens, Steve Gallardo, Diane Ovalle, Victor Medina, Carlos Garcia, Petra Falcon, Desert Art Lab, Spanish for Social Justice, Cyphers, Project at the ro2 Lot, Phoenix Dream Center, Valley of the Sunflowers, Seed Spot, Vital Voices, Puente Movement, Jason Rudolph Pena, Carlos Rivas, Tariq Sabur, Monica Robles, DOSE, Ashley Macias, Joseph Sentrock Perez, and Michelle Ponce.
