Southwest Gardener has been located at 15th and Edgemont avenues for 16 years. The store’s announcement noted that the relocation will take place later this summer. The new location’s projected opening date is mid-August of 2014.

A post on the shop’s Facebook page shared the news, adding, “We’re jumping for joy.”

And there are a few good reasons: The new Southwest Gardener spot will offer more square footage, a permanent indoor classroom space, and regular plant sales from Gregory Ware from Dos Arbolitos Nursery.
