The Roosevelt Row district sees some of its heaviest foot traffic during the First Friday artwalk. When the weather is nice, it can be next to impossible to get into some of the more packed galleries.

Things slow down a little bit around 10 o’clock as galleries and exhibitors begin closing their doors. The bars also become a little less crowded–but only slightly. On Friday, February 3, The Lost Leaf crowd continued going strong until last call.

The bar was filled with a variety of patrons–First Friday attendants, late night snackers and beer aficionados all brushed elbows with each other. The smoking patio and main bar area were both packed, but Snake! Snake! Snakes! easily had the greatest draw of the evening. The band played a couple of sets and engaged the audience with a cover of The Flaming Lips’ “Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots Pt. 1.”

Check out the festivities in this week’s Club Candids slideshow.
