It’s ladies’ night at the Frontal Lobe Community Space and Gallery. This First Friday females are taking over with an exhibition made exclusively by women — it’s “Sex: A Woman’s Perspective.”

Beatrice Moore has invited talented artists from around the Valley to create their own commentary on the way women’s identities are defined today — from how they are portrayed sexually to how their wants and needs are projected by society. Participating artists for the show include Babs A’Delic, Melinda Bergman, Sue Chenoweth, Susan Copeland, Mona Higuchi, and Dena Johnson.

“Sex: A Woman’s Perspective” will debut this Friday with an opening recption from 6 to 10 p.m. Closing reception is September 20 from 6 to 10 p.m. with additional hours available by appointment. For a full lineup of the artists and other event details, visit the event on Facebook.
