Jack White and Norah Jones will be featured on Danger Mouse’s long-running project with Daniele Luppi, according to Consequence of Sound.

While Norah Jones has only been rumored to be on the album in some capacity, Jack White has been in the loop for a while. After having showed off his work to Jack White, who seemed to be into it, he figured he should ask Jack to collaborate with him since Jack’s voice was exactly what he was looking for on this project. Norah’s soft voice is just the complement to Jack’s that Danger Mouse was looking for.

Danger Mouse and Luppi, an Italian composer, have been working on this project, entitled Rome, for the last five years. He says this is what his ideal movie soundtrack would sound like if he ever made one.

Danger Mouse, whose real name is Brian Burton, has made up a portion of super successful projects in the past, including Gnarls Barkley, Broken Bells, and The Grey Album, the famous mashup of the Beatles’ White Album and Jay-Z’s The Black Album. He’s currently producing U2’s upcoming album… no big deal.
