Former Korn guitarist Brian “Head” Welch, who moved to Phoenix after his conversion to Christianity, is going back on the road in support of his debut album, Save Me From Myself. The heavily-tattooed former member of one of nu-metal’s biggest bands released his new record, which clawed it’s way to #63 on the Billboard 200, in September and has assembled a band that includes guitarists Scott Von Heldt and Ralph Patlan, bassist Michael Valentine, drummer Dan Johnson and keyboardist Brian Ruedy. Head’s tour starts in Colorado Springs next month and also includes a stop at the Cornerstone Festival, a Christian music fest in Illinois, in July.
Last July, New Times ran a fantastic feature on Head here. You can find full tour dates on the jump.
