A 3-year-old Phoenix girl died yesterday after she was crushed by a television at her parent’s home.
In a press release, Phoenix police say the girl pulled a 27-inch television off of its stand in her home near 64th Avenue and Flower Street.
When police arrived at the home, the girl’s 17-year-old parents were performing CPR on the her but were unsuccessful in reviving her.

Phoenix police continued CPR until fire personnel arrived on the scene and took the girl to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Police say the incident appears to be a “tragic accident” but that an investigation is under way.
