Blessthefall is a true Phoenix success story. Since forming in high school, the group has kept at it, and gained a diehard fanbase along the way.
The band released its third full length, Awakening, on Fearless Records this past October.
This week we’re bringing you local metalcore in the form of Fuck Yeah, Blessthefall (even if the band’s Christian roots might make such foul language seem a bit out of place).
Never the less, no more, um, effing around; it’s time to get your emo on.
When news happens, Phoenix New Times is there —
Your support strengthens our coverage.
We’re aiming to raise $30,000 by December 31, so we can continue covering what matters most to you. If New Times matters to you, please take action and contribute today, so when news happens, our reporters can be there.
More on what’s awesome about this week’s Tumblr of the week after the jump…
Fuck Yeah, Blessthefall has got tons of live shots, pics from on the road, and even the band’s Christmas card. They’ve got some artistic material as well, like a type collage of frontman Beau Bokan.
Best of all is a mirror pic (ugh) of founding member and former BTF guitarist Mike Frisby without that douchey emo hair. Is it just me, or do people become happier once they stop wearing their hair like Justin Bieber?
Check out the band’s latest music video, “Promised Ones.” Try not to lose your voice while you’re singing along, and do miss these guys when they come to melt your face at The Venue Scottsdale on March 20.
