Starting this week, members of Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s posse will be armed and patrolling the area of some Valley schools.
In response to the Newtown, Connecticut elementary school massacre, Arpaio’s dispatching his volunteer deputies to schools on unincorporated county land, although MCSO won’t yet tell us which schools those are.

Although the patrol program started yesterday, MCSO says we’ll have to wait until tomorrow to find out which schools will have an armed posse member patrolling, although New Times requested a list of the schools yesterday.
