The first day of free agency was Tuesday, so of course there’s another rumor involving a quarterback and the Arizona Cardinals.
This time around, it’s former Indianapolis Colts backup quarterback Drew Stanton. 910 XTRA’s Mike Jurecki reports that Stanton’s actually on his way to visit with the Cardinals.

He’s been in the league since the 2008 season and has started a grand total of four games, with career totals of five touchdowns and nine interceptions.
Although Stanton was a member of the Colts last year — where Cardinals coach Bruce Arians was — he hasn’t thrown a pass in a regular-season game since December 2010, when he was a member of the Detroit Lions.
