Phoenix Sergeant Steve Martos confirms to New Times that the deaths of two people found in a Phoenix home last night is suspected to be a case of murder/suicide.
Martos says it appears Dylan Bell fatally shot 24-year-old Marilyn Guerra before turning the gun on himself.
When the bodies were found, Guerra’s 10-month-old daughter was sitting next to her mother crying.
Phoenix police say officers responded to a call to a home in the 7900 block of West Highland Avenue about 6 p.m. yesterday. The caller, Guerra’s 60-year-old mother, told police she went to her daughter’s home and found the two bodies.

She also told police the baby was crying next to her mother’s body when she entered the home.
Fire officials checked out the baby and determined she was unharmed.
It’s unclear what motivated Bell to kill Guerra and then kill himself. Police continue to investigate the incident.
