Two pretty incredible things happened yesterday: the U.S. House of Representatives passed a bi-partisan debt-ceiling bill that — Senate-approved — will keep the federal government from defaulting on its loans. Also, Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords — who was shot through the brain eight months ago — walked into the House and cast her vote for the last-minute bill.
Giffords’ appearance on the House floor yesterday was her first real public appearance since the January Tucson shooting rampage that left her critically wounded.
We want to know which event you think is more exciting: Giffords casting her first vote since getting shot, or the House doing its job and averting financial disaster?
