The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office made another one of its signature worksite raids late last week, busting four big, bad cleaning-ladies in the process.
Their crime, MCSO alleges, is “identity theft” — although many of these cases don’t involve the theft of someone’s identity.

An attorney for the women’s employer, Pro-Serv, told the Feathered Bastard that the company doesn’t engage in any unlawful employment practices. Not that it matters — Arpaio’s MCSO has very, very rarely been interested in employers of alleged undocumented immigrants.
MCSO didn’t offer up too much more information on the raid, although you can suspect it was similar to the 73 similar raids, which all end with a few Latino people being rounded up for little more than showing up to work that day.
