Phoenix mayoral candidates have shared their views during several forums across the city.
And there’s another tonight hosted by Downtown Voices Coalition, but this one is deviating from the standard Q&A-style format where questions come from a moderator.
At this downtown-centric mayoral forum, moderated by the Arizona Republic’s Richard Ruelas, candidates will ask the questions — of each other.
The coalition, a group of business and community leaders, wants to shake things up … and this format could get interesting.

Your support strengthens our coverage.
We’re aiming to raise $30,000 by December 31, so we can continue covering what matters most to you. If New Times matters to you, please take action and contribute today, so when news happens, our reporters can be there.
The forum runs from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 tonight in the Park Room at the Lexington Hotel, 1100 N. Central Avenue (a block north of of Roosevelt).
Organizers say each candidate will show up with a question for each of his or her opponents. Names will be randomly selected, and candidates will pose questions to each other.
Candidates expected to show include Thane Eichenauer, Wes Gullett, Claude Mattox, Peggy Neely, and Greg Stanton and Jennifer Wright.
Seating is limited, so arrive early.
Or hang out at the Cycle Restaurant & Bar where organizers plan to pipe in audio from the forum for an overflow crowd. Enjoy a brew and listen to the candidates quiz each other on downtown issues.
