You’ll soon have a new restaurant to hit before Phoenix Coyotes games and concerts at Gila River Arena. Bar Louie, the restaurant and bar with one Valley location at Tempe Marketplace, plans to open a second metro Phoenix location at Westgate by the end of April.
The restaurant, which was founded in downtown Chicago in 1990, has 100 locations around the country and is known for its list of 34 signature martinis. Diners can expect a menu of appetizers, flatbreads, salads, burgers, and sandwiches, as well as a selection of more than 20 wines by the glass, both imported and craft beers, and a menu of cocktails.
The Westgate restaurant will center around a large indoor island bar, while a 3,000-square foot covered patio will warp around the entire eatery. An open-air lounge and bar will offer views of the fountains on WaterDance Plaza.
