Fresh off the release of his critically acclaimed Blank Face LP, Schoolboy Q announced tour dates this week, including a stop at Mesa Amphitheatre on Tuesday, October 11. Rapper Joey Bada$$ will join him on tour.
Blank Face LP is Schoolboy Q’s second major-label album and follows his 2014 Interscope debut Oxymoron. Oxymoron debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, and was eventually certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. The record was nominated for a Grammy for best rap album, losing to Eminem’s The Marshall Mathers LP 2. Schoolboy Q probably best known for his song “Collard Greens,” which featured Kendrick Lamar.
Blank Face LP features a number of A-list rappers, including Kanye West, Vince Staples, Anderson .Paak, and others.
Tickets go on sale Friday, July 22, at 10 a.m. at the Mesa Amphitheatre box office or at www.mesaamp.com.
