If you have a business with a roomy courtyard, why not use it throw a concert? The folks at the Crown on Seventh (the complex that houses Okra Cookhouse, Phoenix Ale Brewery Central Kitchen, The Root Salon, and more) are doing just that at their multi-business hub that mixes retail shops and dining spots. The Courtyard Concert Series kicks off on March 29 from 6 to 9 p.m. and reoccurs on the last Wednesday of every month through July.
It’s local acts that will take the stage, with Taylor Upsahl performing at the inaugural concert. The indie singer/songwriter has been making music most of her young life, releasing her first full-length recording at the age of 14. Her voice and songs are catchy and sweet, while a soulful edge and
