Yes, it’s that shopping-crazed time of year, and to be honest, we’re a little nuts about shopping, and especially writing about shopping.

Our latest fix: Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art and Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts are hosting a two-day Holiday Jewelry Trunk Show on Friday and Saturday, with all proceeds supporting programs at the two artsy spaces. Win, win.

There will be 15 jewelry artists selling their work, which means you won’t have to sift through booths of crummy junk jewelry. In fact, the show’s organizers have carefully selected quality designers who work with metal, gemstones, beads, and other unique materials.

And the artists?
