Many adaptations of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby have seen the silver screen, and this summer director Baz Luhrmann will release his own starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, Joel Edgerton, Carey Mulligan, Isla Fisher, Jason Clarke, Elizabeth Debicki, and Amitabh Bachchan.
The movie follows the literary story of writer Nick Carraway, who falls into the world of success and wealth (with a big dose of lies, greed and secrets) created and lived by Gatsby in the 1920s.
Luhrmann’s film will be in theaters May 10, 2013. Take a look at the second trailer after the jump …

No big surprises from the trailer — DiCaprio plays a volatile Gatsby and Carey Mulligan can pull off a bob, and the cinematography is what you’d expect from the same name behind “The Red Curtain Trilogy” of Strictly Ballroom, William Shakespeare’s Romeo + Juliet and Moulin Rouge.
Buckle up.
