The all-around cool dude got his start in the mid-’90s promoting record labels with DJ Bigie-Meanmugg. Since then, he’s coordinated hip-hop shows, charity events, and weekly dance nights like Burning Bridges at Philthy Phil’s.
We caught up with the networking guru (check him out on afrodiisiac.com) to see what he was wearing.

What are you wearing right now? What is the last item of clothing you
bought?
A Bigie meanmugg exclusive T-shirt, black Dickie shorts & leather Nike Cortez with a black/white huff ball cap. It’s
summertime in PHX fool.
A pair of seafoam green Levi trousers. Like me, they’re very simple
and [have] a splash of color that’s easy on the eyes.
What is the item of clothing you most covet at the
moment?
A St. Croix multi-colored, multi-pattern cardigan. It always reminds
me of my years in the late ’80s and early ’90s watching the Cosby
show.
Give us a childhood memory of you and clothes:
Growing up, I
never had many clothes at all — just enough to last one solid week. Those I wore
to school and those I wore after school. On the weekend it was cut-off pants, no
shirt, Rude Dog slip-on shoes and a big stick to fight off dogs and bullies in
my neighborhood. As you can tell, there was not a huge emphasis on clothing as a
kid.
Name five items every man should have in his closet:
A black
button up dress shirt, a black or white tie, black dress shoes, a sport
coat-blazer, loosely form fitted jeans.
Name an item of clothing
that’s best when it’s vintage:
For men, Jeans (of course). For women, below-the-knee dress.
Name an item of clothing you should NEVER
buy used:
Underwear, of course.
What is your one piece of fashion advice for Phoenix?
Fashion is nothing … self-preservation, love for all, knowledge for self and
knowledge in general should be our focus, “PHX”. Fashion should be at the bottom
of the totem pole of life.
On that note, always be aware and confident of your body. Everyone can have their own look that makes them look & feel fresh as Fucc no matter your shape weight or size. Love the way you look.
