In the spirit of Art Detour 24, Barrio Cafe, Por Vida Gallery, Viejitos Car Club, and Calle 16 cultural arts district will provide a diversion from the gallery madness that will descend on Roosevelt Row, Grand Avenue, and the Central Corridor. Between the shuffle, artsy aficionados can visit the intersection of North 16th Street and East Edgemont Avenue for an eyeful of the latest paint jobs on car club Viejitos’ curvy canvases at its Lowrider Show.
Along with the show, the club will host an art supply drive for Metropolitan Art Institute. Bring along some brushes, paints, and pencils, and peep the tricked out Chevys, Cadillacs, Fords, and more.
