Join artists Hasan Elahi, David Gurman, and David Taylor as they converse with curator Claire C. Carter of the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art and photography curator Sandra S. Philips of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art about their collaborative exhibition, “Covert Operations: Investigating the Known Unknowns.” This symposium will delve into the who, what, where, when, and why behind the researching and reasoning of investigating surveillance tapes, terrorist profiling, and other classified government happenings in the name of art. The “Covert Operations” discussion happens at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 22, at the Scottsdale Museum for Contemporary Art. General admission tickets are $5.
