Nothing can make a person feel more self-conscious that standing next to a priceless piece of art. Seriously, you have to assume the position at art shows: elbows tucked, hands in pockets, and no breathing.
You can let your arms flail at Practical Art during the month of April during “Complicit.” The gallery actually encourages you not only to touch the art in this exhibition, but also to break it. We’re not kidding. And neither are artists Kara Roschi and Nicole Dunlap, who outfit their artwork with fragile eggshells that just beg to be smashed. The shells are replaced often, so everyone can participate in this interactive exhibition.
