No promise of an in-coffin arrival or a warewolf costume — yet — but news came in this morning from Anne Rice and Changing Hands Bookstore that the bestselling author will be visiting the store on February 29.
The author will be signing copies of her latest title, The Wolf Gift, a thriller surrounding a young reporter-turned-“man wolf” who finds love and struggle on his quest to embrace his new life and surroundings.
Rice is perhaps best known for her Interview with a Vampire, which she wrote before converting to Catholicism and writing exclusively Christian-themed novels. The author left the Church in the summer of 2010 and says she’s back on the erotic, Gothic fantasy wagon — though she’ll hold on to her religious optimism for a while.
Rice will be signing books at 7 p.m. on February 29. Event vouchers (which admit two) are free with a purchase of Wolf Gift from Changing Hands.
Changing Hands is at 6428 S. McClintock Dr. in Tempe.
