The a.ware girls claim that the suitcases pictured (aren’t they cool?) are filled with crafts by local artists for a big move to a Central Avenue store.

We’re excited to hear that. And we dig the photo they chose for their flier … so much that we snagged it for this blog post (not without proper credit given, of course).

They’ve got good taste.

a.ware (a.k.a. Julie Hampton and Carol Panaro-Smith) will be setting up shop right next door to Lola Coffee’s original location on Central and Highland Avenues.

Read on for more info about the upcoming a.ware shop.

This artsy duo who has brought us craft parties and Screen-o-Ramas in the past, plans to sell a fine collection of quality crafts and host workshops and special events in the space from December through May.

So far they’ve got a couple parties planned this Friday, December 3, and Saturday, December 4, both from 6 to 10 p.m., where refreshments will be on-hand and a raffle for a custom a.ware gift basket will go down.

Regular hours from December 6 to 31 are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m daily at 4700 North Central Avenue, Suite 101.
