You might expect someone with the name Lisa Starry to have an artistic obsession with celestial bodies, but based on the modern dance choreographer’s latest work, Dreaming in Water, it’s fair to say Scorpius Dance Theatre’s director has more of a yen for aqua than NASA.

The new production is a multi-media remake of Starry’s Water Dreams (a work that’s now more than 10 years old) that melds original music, dance, and aerial arts. Set in a young boy’s imagination, Dreaming sees dancers become floating jellyfish, water nymphs come to life, and synchronized swimmers take to mini-pools.
